SAY HELLO TO
Hi, my name is Amanda and I am looking for my forever home. again. Before being rescued by Almost Home my whole world turned upside down because my owner had to go to a nursing home. I was a little overwhelmed by new surroundings and all the new people I've been meeting. I was adopted shortly after arriving, but was returned when I did not get do well with the children. Children are loud and unpredictable and that scares me.
I shake when I'm scared, but if you spend a little time with me, I warm up quickly. Once I'm comfortable with you, I enjoy attention and will gently nudge you for pets. I was snuggling with my new foster mom as soon as we got to her home. I'm 8 years old and around 22 lbs.. If you're looking for a low-key companion, that's me! I walk nicely on leash and don't pull. I'm fine with other dogs too, although I'm not the playful type. However, I have done the doggie play dance with one of my fosters. That thrilled my new foster mommy. I love my current foster home. It has two other dogs and a cat. I don't mind any of them. I jump up on the couch and find my soft spot and am good to go until it's time to go outside. I do follow my foster mom around some and even go into the bathroom with her and will sit there to get petted. If you think I might be the dog for you, come and meet me at the next adoption show..
