SAY HELLO TO
My name is Corrine and I am a beautiful 2 year old Chow Chow mix.
I am a very lucky dog because the good people at Almost Home Foundation recently saved
me and my puppies.
I was found in the south when I was nursing my puppies. I heard that I probably had to live in the woods for most of my young life. When I arrived at Almost Home with my puppies I saw a different way of dog life that was amazing to me. People were very kind but I have to admit I was afraid at the beginning. It took me a while to become more confident and relaxed in my new environment.
I really like home life now. I am presently living with my trainer at his very nice home and he has worked with me a lot. He said I am now ready to start looking for my forever home. I am so excited.
I heard him talking about me and he said so many nice things. He said I would do best in a home with a fenced in yard. I get along with other dogs and I am good with people of all ages. I like car rides and I love training. My trainer said he would like to set up a few follow-up lessons at my new forever home and that Almost Home would pay for the lessons. I am learning to walk well when I am on leash and I know the following commands: come, sit, down, stand, leave it, take it, heal/easy (slow down) and let's go.
I am so proud and I am so ready to find my forever home. I know I would make a wonderful addition to a loving family.
